Teresa 500 touring exhibition
Our specially designed Teresa 500 exhibition spent the centenary year touring the UK, visiting 16 cathedrals across Britain, as well as two Carmelite monasteries, and the Anglican and Catholic shrines at Walsingham. It was also present at a number of our Teresa 500 events.
The exhibition was popular across the country, with visitors remarking on the experience of encountering St Teresa for the first time:
"This is a very clear and beautiful summary of St Teresa of Avila's life. I previously knew nothing about this important Saint, but in a short space of time have been able to 'encounter' her through your wonderful exhibition. I will pray to St Teresa from now on. Thank you!"
"I visited the most beautiful exhibition of St Teresa it was so well put together and the language so accessible. I am sure the exhibition will have been helpful to many and made St Teresa a bit better known."

The exhibition on tour
also The Teresa 500 exhibition spent much of the summer in various tents in Walsingham; first at the New Dawn festival, and then at the Youth 2000 festival over the bank holiday weekend. It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce Teresa to many young festival goers.
